School roll is now over 1400 which places Spotswood into a special category in relation to administration and staffing.

First XI Cricket team beat Freyberg HS in Palmerston North then lost to Tawa College at Sanders Park. The highlight was the 117 runs scored by Carey Hobbs against Tawa.
